Hold me until this pain goes away
I'm nothing unless I'm in your arms
Hold me and I'll forget all the harm
We've been through it all
Never thought you'd let me fall
But you picked me up and held me tight
So I would know it'll be alright
Can't explain these feelings I feel
You broke my heart and it never healed
So here I go with the same old rhymes
Cuz I still love you time after time
I forget the pain just for now
I say I'm over you but I don't know how
But as you hold me now, even as just friends
Can't help but wonder how we ever let it end
Seems like you still care but there are things that can't be fixed
When it comes to you my emotions are mixed
So please hold me now, I LOVE YOU MORE THEN YOU KNOW
I tell myself NO but I can't let you go
You may have another and I understand
Don't want things to change but please hold my hand
Help me through it and over this hill
But even when I'm there will you hold me still?
My first love and my always for now
My always forever if you'd just allow
Sure I want things to be like they were
But maybe I like us as friends...I'm just not sure!
