Party

The chandelier light,
Shimmers so bright,
This girl that I love,
Comes from above.

How magnificent is her dress,
It makes me want to press,
Our bodies together,
As light as a feather,
And dance the night away.

I see her dancing with her friends,
Oh how time ends,
Lost in her beauty,
Her angelic ways,
That put me in a daze,
For days and days.

Time to depart,
A longing in my heart,
But before I start,
I must say goodbye.

Goodbye goodbye,
How it makes me want to cry,
Why not "until next time",
Oh how it is such a crime.

My favorite part,
A hug for the heart,
That will stay forever,
And never sever.

"Until next time,"
I say goodbye,
Hoping that this hug,
Will quickly sublime.
