I knew him only for a week
a week was all
but i must've tripped
and had a long fall

I fell into love
and what a great fall it was
He was the greatest guy
and that was because

He would give you a hug
when you needed someone near
He would make you smile
if your eyes shed a tear

We would stay up 'til two
talking about life
and just spacing out
before we said goodnight

I hated the way you lied
about looking at my butt
but now i miss the feeling
that you gave me in my gut

I hated the way that you showered all the time, that bugged me!
but now i miss the scent that you gave off when you hugged me

I hated the way that you'd be silent
for half the day's light
but now i miss the way we laughed
for almost half the night

the worst thing is
you were my friend
and now I'll probably
never see you again
