We Forgot

by Jacklyn   Nov 29, 2004

September 11, 2001,
Has come, past and is done with now,
We remember the innocent,
We remember the towers,
Just to me it seems,
We forgot the other planes,
We forgot the Pentagon,
We forgot our forest heroes,
They were headed for the Whitehouse but arose to conquer their fears,
We forgot the people, who died,
Beside those in the World Trade,
So here we are,
Toasting another year,
So sorrow the lost,
But an event that brought us together,
Reunited many others,
Lets toast to the good and bad,
The effects it had,
What happened to out nation,
Lets give it to our heroes,
That died or may have lived,
Remember the World Trade,
But never forget the Pentagon,
Or our Forest Heroes.
