Loving u has brought out a dark side of me,
A real mean and bad person which I knew not ever existed in me,
I pray every night for the stars to shine so bright,
That u stay awake thinking of me all night…

Every morning I wish your day begins,
Not with a prayer to keep u happy,
But with a prayer to keep your mind away from thinking of me,
A prayer that’ll never be answered; coz u still haunt me…

I pray that when people gift you roses,
For you to know that they love you,
And instead of those velvet petals,
You feel the thorns that rise below…

I pray all these things to God everyday,
Not coz I think of you all night and day,
But to make your heart just weep,
For making a promise to me which you could never keep…
