Living A Lie

by «_ĀÐdï©+ïØñ¯»   Dec 5, 2004

I can pretend that you’re not hurting me,
While you pretend that I’m not there,
You can pretend that you don’t feel for me,
And I’ll pretend that I don’t care.
You can act as though we weren’t meant to be,
And I can fake it too,
I’ll make you believe that I was never wrong,
As I pretend that I’m over you.
We’ll both pretend we’re happy,
Make-believe our love did die,
Instead of feeling love, and loss,
Because I’d more happily, live a lie.
