Lovers

by Kris   Dec 7, 2004

You sleep here, yet unknowing,
that I would give to you
a love so filled with sunshine,
we’d never more be blue.

I’d give you more than diamonds.
A love more dear than gold.
If in your arms you’d hold me,
as we’d grow slowly old.

I pour my creaselecrease less|_with thoughts and lowly pen,
upon this scrap of paper,
to hope and love again.

Let me sing my love song
in words so truly dear
that once you see and hear them
you’ll never leave me here.
