Without you

by ~*^*~ longing to belong ~*^*~   Dec 12, 2004

Somewhere,
Deep inside,
There is a feeling,
I try to hide,
I wrap it up,
And push it down,
I put on a mask,
And cover my frown,
I suppress the shudder,
Face light on the shadow,
'Cause I cannot admit,
That without you,
I wouldn't face tomorrow,
But with you beside me,
I can reach the summit,
Of the mountain,
I always strive to climb,
But if you leave me,
I will plummet down,
And meet the sharpest,
Rocks of despair,
For I couldn't cope,
Without you here,
To warm my heart,
And catch my tear,
To kiss away my fears,
Just to have you near,
Seems to liven my soul,
I wish I could hold your smile,
And keep it close for a short while,
Just to reassure myself,
That I am yours,
Just so I can know,
I really will face tomorrow,
