What is the meaning of life?

What is the meaning of life?

Are we just jigsaws,
Slotting in wherever we fit,
Are we just beings,
To be torn apart bit-by-bit,

There must be a reason,
For why we are here,
There must be an answer,
Can anyone hear?

Are we just creatures,
Fit only for labour,
Are we allowed only one taste,
Of true loves flavour?

Is there anyone out there,
Who can answer my questions,
There’s gotta be someone,
Who can give me suggestions,

I need to know soon,
I’m loosing hope,
I’m sliding down,
Depression’s slope,

I just don’t see the point,
In life’s torture,
I think I’ll just lie here,
And forget the departure,
Of my sanity.
