Winter

by Erica Brown©   Dec 12, 2004

Dead trees,
No more pestering flies.
Crumbled leaves,
Winds whispering lies.

No more sweltering heat,
Animals scurry around.
The new season they have to beat,
As white fluff piles high on the ground.
