Afraid Of Losing You

by Emily   Dec 13, 2004

The first time I met you, I saw sunshine dawn on me. A sparkle had lit your eyes, when you'd come to see.

Knowing you had loved me, and knowing I loved you. Our love was like a maze. It's sometimes hard to go through.

When I first said I love you, you didn't say it back. You stood there with a stupid look, as if you were going to hack..

I wanted to let you know, what I felt about you. Just a line to tell you, now what're you to do?

You didn't say it back, not right away. You didn't say goodbye, you just left for the day.

Something crossed my mind, something from the blue. I thought to myself, "Do you love me too?"

The next day I saw you, I asked you if you loved me. You changed the subject, like you didn't hear a thing.

I had always said I loved you, but did you love me? If only you could feel the pain inside, you see.

One thing's left for sure, I hope not to do. I have to tell you, I'm afraid of losing you...
