Unrequited Love

by Kia   Dec 13, 2004

His love for her went unrequited
Into her heart he longed to be invited
Though for him she never really cared
The hole she made in his heart will never be repaired

She left him all alone
Never calling him on the phone
Each day she left him hanging
Thinking someone else he was banging

Separated by something very untrue
This rumor however no one can subdue
She didn't believe what he had to say
From now on she won't give him the time of day

She has quickly moved on
He still haven't accepted she's gone
He can't put this in the past
He thought this was something that would last

She's broken his heart
Ripped his soul apart
But she doesn't care
She was never really there

She never wanted anything just played with his mind
He keeps saying "how could i be so blind"
He's trying to get over her and move on
But depressions sinking in, from society he's withdrawn

He's been left by himself here
Trying not to shed that tear
Sinking further into depression
Why is his only question

"Why did you have to do what you did?
Why did you have to act like a kid?
Why did you have to play with my heart,
And tear my whole life apart?"
