My Heart's Key

by dandy   Dec 18, 2004

I want to see him smile at me,
like I want to at him.
But I know my feelings are stronger,
the chance of it is slim.

I want his arms to envelop me,
hold me close and tight.
I can't help this thought from entering,
it just seems so right.

I want his hand to hold,
that gentle, caring touch.
His slender fingers around mine,
I think about so much.

I want his lips to meet mine,
in one tender kiss.
Why can't I get it out of my head?
Why must I think of this?

I want his voice to whisper,
sweet things in my ear.
If he did, my spine would tingle,
to know that he's sincere.

Most of all I want his heart,
to ache when he sees me.
Lord knows mine does when I see him,
for he is my heart's key.
