So Started July

I waited forever until the school year was out
3 months of freedom, perfect, no doubt.

Then came my birthday filled with such glee
I started noticing changes, changes of me

June passed quite quickly and oh so much fun
Onto the next month I thought changes were done

So started July along with the love between you and I
I never thought you'd come back, I thought it a lie

We started spending time together more and more
I was going crazy my mind and heart were having a war

I was still in love and got bored one night
Home alone what to do so I turned off the light

I left my house and asked you if you would come and play
We ran for hours until we stopped together to rest and lay

We both parted and walked those roads alone
I felt more in love by the time I was home

The next night again the same with more friends
That night as it seemed would never come to an end

Played some more until trouble irised
I went into panic caught by surprise

We walked and you held my hand the whole way
Didn't’t let go once until we got to where we'd stay

You saw a shooting star and made a wish
I asked what it was you showed me with a kiss

We started a relationship that night
A relationship was sure would work so right

One month later you decided to end it with a fight
I tried so hard to keep you I tried with all my might

I could no longer fight I had to give in to what was best
As I walked home I no longer felt the beat in my chest

Even though we're over and will not be together again
That memory from July plays back every now and then.
