Love And Fear

I want to show my love for you
But the fear of scaring you lingers near
For I cannot deny it, it is true
But losing you is what I fear

I picture what could be in the future
And pray that it could happen
If we were together, the sky would be brighter
I’d hope or sky didn’t blacken

How can I show you love when I fear the result?
What would this do if I told you it was true?
This though I must confront
