Winter days

by Natalie Forest TL   Dec 28, 2004

The silent days,
The misty nights,
The trails of snow,
The precious sights,

The cool winter breeze,
The windows of frost,
The windy trees,
The lakes I've crossed,

The white fluffy powder,
The breath of fresh air,
The roads of ice,
No longer bear.

The shivers I behold,
My face no longer pale,
The tip of my nose red,
All the snowmobile trails.

The winter has come,
The sunshine has left,
But it's the warmth within my heart,
That I have kept.
