She Saved My Life!!!

I almost lost it,
Cut my rist and watched as they bled,
But it was her voice that kept me alive,
Running through my head.

I did not have a reason to live,
Until I thought of my friend,
If I were to die and just give up,
It would for her too be the end.

Because of my selfishness,
I would be killing another,
A sister, a loved one, a friend to all,
...And a daugther.

My life has no value,
But hers to me is priceless,
To have her as my friend,
I truly do feel blessed.

But knowing that she would be gone,
As fast as I would have left,
I am going to turn my back,
On this path towards death.

I will live my life right now,
So her too can live hers,
And this is what I leave,
As my final words:

Without you by my side,
I would not be here today.
And for you I thank for my life,
And here is where I shall stay.

And if you ever need me too,
Just know that I am here,
No matter how far the distance,
In your heart I will be near

Like you did for me,
I will look out for you until the end,
Because to me we will always be,
The very best of friends.
