Falling from grace

You are the only light
my life has ever seen
you blanketed an angered heart
made it feel serene

but my darkened tunnel of life
to long a patient look on your face
when i finally stepped out
i had fallen from grace

my angel had gone
so she could re-spread her wings
but the love she had left
started fearing terrible things

this walk he had made
that most would never see
he did it for love
finally understanding it unconditionally

they way that he needs her
she cant understand
but no one could bare the logic
for it is in his shoes they would have to stand

so now in tears he crys painfully
trying to hold it back
but over-ruled by the misery

she might never read through
the things he has done
but he wishes she would love him
because her love made him overcome

he misses her smile
to kiss her lips
touch her face
for how much longer
must i have to fall from your grace
