You told me you cared
You showed me the light
You said you’d be there
That made me loose sight

I was you princess
and you were my prince
It was so perfect,
I’ve always changed since.

I thought we were always meant to be
And nothing could get in between
Not even the sea

It turns out I was wrong
There was one thing that could ruin it all
That was the people
The people that always try
But in the end they make me cry

I moved on for nothing, nothing at all
You told me u loved me underneath it all.

The fear of loosing you
Was the only one left
You caring about me
Was what my life kept

The song that you gave me
Is still in my mind
Now has a different meaning
That I still can’t find

I still care about you
Just in a different way
I lost you to something
That never existed anyway

A person replaced you
A better one too
I just can’t believe It
That my fear came true

But it’s alright now
You did your part
One thing I don’t get though
Is that I broke my own heart
