Spring fever

by Lexi Lou   Jan 5, 2005

Silence beats a second more
and rings in our ears
shuffling in our seats
unable to voice our fears

another moment passes us by
afraid to say a word
theres chances it could be ignored
or even worse yet, heard

heat on our faces turns our complexion
to a wash of color
when will the words be said
how long is forever?

a moment of stupidity
where all defenses go down
our look of one vulnerability
and the sickness goes around

a love in our hearts
and written on each face
hearts undergo
the transformation taking place

if you don't know spring fever translates to twiterpated
while its not spring its easy to see
I'm infatuated
