As the girl hits the wall,
Her dignity and pride begin to fall,
She loses every hope she had,
Lost everything stopping her from being mad,

The deeper she cuts the better she feels,
Whether It's the blood from her wrist or the packages of pills,

She punches another hole in the door,
She smiles as the mirror hits the floor,
She's been through way more pain then this,
Her hand ain't even sore,
She just watches the blood drip to her wrist,

Her mother yells as she takes a sip of her beer,
Her Father threatens,
But she has no fear,

She walks out of the broken home,
Theres no one left to cry to,
Shes all alone,

See I guess Daddy never really thought the scars hurt,
I guess he didn't think the bruises did either,
Or the blood dripping from her shirt,

Mom...she was there but to drunk to care,
She just kept taking shots,
As she sat there and stared,

Once she even wrote a letter saying shes gonna hang herself by a wire,
And her one wish from her Mom...was to get a match and light her on fire,

Shes ran away so many times nobody even searches for her anymore,
The cops usually find her though,
Buying more pills from the drug store,
She never really felt loved,
But It really hit her when she reached age four,

All the crys for help never to be found,
To tell her fears to...There was never anyone around.

And you may ask how do you know how this girl's life was?
How could you see?
The true answer is behind it all,
That girl...was me..
