Last dance

Last dance

I knew you and I wouldn’t ever last.
Like a new car running out of gas,
I don’t want to push you that far.
Right now just take me to the bar.
We can sit, talk, drink and maybe dance.
To help us get back on the same track.
You said no how no way no 2nd chance.
Now all I think about is getting you back.
I knew you and I wouldn’t ever last.

this was written about two friends
that do this ever night.
