Rita Catherine Morvay Daugird

I have never met a single person like her before.
She has no enemies, she accepts everyone, this I especially adore.
Her laugh is contagious & her smile lights up any room.
You would often hear her singing or whistling some old tune.
She should be considered a saint, b/c that’s exactly what she became.
She should have been an actress b/c she deserved all that fame.
She was extremely smart, but above all she was wise.
She was one of God’s chosen ones sent to us in disguise.
She touched all of our hearts deep down to the core.
She turned her back on no one and invited all of us in her door.
Her six beautiful daughters were her pride & joy.
Poor grandpa just wanted one of them to be a boy.
She was a great daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, & friend.
She loved us all unconditionally until her very peaceful end.
She always made us laugh almost to the point of pain.
She loved her crazy cat Lucy, whom we all found insane.
She will never be forgotten by myself or anyone else here, I’m sure.
She hated being sick, I just wish one of us could have found a cure.
All along, I thought it couldn’t happen to her & she’d pull through.
She always seemed invincible, so strong; she held this family together like glue.
I thought she’d live forever, but now she is gone.
I ask God why, I think what he did was wrong.
Everyone needs her here, its just not fair, I wish she’d come back.
Faith in God’s decision is one of the few things I completely lack.
But, what’s done is done, we all know she’s smiling down on us from above.
I am so glad she’s been reunited with her one & only true love.
Her spirit will always be with us & live deep inside our hearts.
The memories we shared with her will live on apart.
Rita Catherine Morvay Daugird, we are all here to celebrate your life and thank you for the ways you’ve touched ours.
We look around at all these people and all these bouquets of flowers.
We will miss you more than you’ll ever know.
Holiday, family get-togethers, thunderstorms, & even snow.
These times will never be the same with out your smile or your laugh.
Rest in Peace dear Rita
