Mist

A cloud of mist
Envelops everything around
The light fighting to get through
Fades away. so I have found

My once lucid vision
Has now become unclear
Wondering if it is the mist
Or because of my forming tears

Within this mist I hide
Silently crying my tears away
The surroundings, they disappear
With the brightness of May

The feelings I once believed in
Merged jointly with the mist
Becoming confusing and cold
No longer the beautiful bliss

It's difficult to walk through
Not knowing which direction to go
My heart, I cannot follow
As it is in pieces, no longer whole

All I can do is wait
For the mist to pass through
The day I can move on
The day I can finally forget you...
