Love

by John123   Jan 10, 2005

I thought I had lost you forever
and thought we'd never be together
yet, you bring you heart up from nether
breaking my imagination's paradigmic tether

your hand, onto the edge of the void, it clings
you had, before, acted puppeteered with strings
Now you're mending your broken wings
I never dreamed of you doing such things

Changing for me and my love for you
Something I'd never think you'd do
Blindside me, out of the blue
Yet, it's something that, in my heart, I always knew

You've changed so much in so little time
All of the beauty of your reverence is so sublime
Now, stealing my heart, will be your only crime
For you found your way out of the grime

I can't wait until you are healed and back with me
So that our love, lasting, can always be
And I hope that you one day see
Your everlasting, unmistakable beauty
