A Single Dark Angel

by Ian Robert   Jan 10, 2005

The dark one flys like an angel,
Her wings are misty gray,
She's been hurt so many times,
She just can't get away.

It haunts her every thought,
She just can't escape,
These days are so cold,
Gloating so lifelessly.

Rivets skim through existence,
Coating everything with filth,
Thick and dark, so devious is her hatred,
Left to scavenge through hatreds final gate.

I absolutly love that stance. your word choice and symbolism fit perfectly with the piece. I especially loved the miagery, it was darkly powerful. Well done
