If only

THIS IS A TRUE POEM, SHOWING EXACTLY HOW MY NITES ARE AFTER BREAK UP. SO ANY KIND OF COMMENT IS WELCOMED.

trying so hard right now,
just want to sleep some how

all i need is one single dream,
where i can be with you;
when i can hold you tight,
and expect the same too.

i know its just a dream,
its fake , so untrue;
yet i hanker for it,
cos its the only way to spend time with you.

clock goes ticking on
in late hours of silent night;
i just lie on my bed,
wanting to fall asleep with all might.

i try to keep my eyes shut,
with my hands covering them;
searching for your reminiscent,
i softly utter your name.

hour after hour flies by,
i open my eyes and close again;
wanting to see your face for once,
cos that takes away my pain.

i beg desperately,
for the night to stay;
but the morning is here,
much to my dismay.

so i am left with nothing but thoughts,
of the things i wished to do;
if only i would have fallen asleep,
if only i would Harv dreamed of you.

if only i could have you near,
if only i could feel your touch;
i wanted to tell you that i love you;
did i ask for too much
