God's Child

by Bleed-Like-Me   Jan 13, 2005

Tragedy, so cold
Bitterness, took a soul
Beauty of God's child
Lay in the snow

Crowd, wondering why
Frozen, motionless shows no life
A child, mistake
Too late to be saved

Frozen tears upon her cheek
Blue lips that cannot speak
A lifeless body, so sad, so lonely
Gone to the heavens, where she can fly freely

Grey, the sky fades
Crowd disappears, its the end of the day
In a snow angel print
God's child lays
