FEAR

by JC   Jan 14, 2005

Screaming out loud, in the dark of the night, searching for something to grasp.
But nothing is there,
you look around and as far as you can see nothingness.
And yet there is nothing to fear,
Being alone in the dark, as a shiver sneaks up your spine.
As you go to wrap your arms around yourself, you find they aren't there, and then you look at yourself and there's nothing.
The fear is there but where are you?
Do you exist, in the dark of an endless of nothing?
You search for something,
the prof that your still there,
but you can't.
The fear is real, and you can't escape it.
