Above it all

by Sinister Soire   Jan 15, 2005

I wandered softly in the air
Like a cloud above it all
Soaring up above the fair
Waiting for the rain to fall

I slowly drift above the land
Aimlessly roaming no where
Taking only the task at hand
Without the slightest care

The rain clouds up above me
Are now specks against the ground
As I float about in solemn glee
To no one place ever bound

It is a happy life above everything
Without the cares of chaos life
Where everyone is adventuring
To be free again without strife

But it is a lonely life like mine
Above the pain and love of yours
To feel again I sincerely pine
And to die in love and wars
