He's Actually Gone

by Gill   Jan 16, 2005

He let me see the light at the end of the line
He let me see, that anything i truly wanted, could be mine

He let me know that for what I wanted SO much
I had to work for it, you know, give it a little extra touch

I told him I'd try, yeah, I'd try my best
He told me to put myself to the test

Told me I should be proud of myself
Told me that it was only good for my health!
(DUH!)

But then these guys got drunk and then drove last night
And hit him hard, no way could they hit him light

He was rushed to the hospital, there was still a little hope
But I needed faith, I just couldnt cope

He died two hours later, becasue of those guys
Driving drunk, with their heads in the sky

I'll miss him forever, because he was the one who understood me
I'll miss him forver, because he made me happy

*even though this poem isn't true I think it means a lot to people who have lost someone because of drunk drivers, and it'd be great if you could vote or comment on this poem thanks*
