She’s sitting there
Not sure what to do
Everything flashes by
She’s just thinking it though

Her father is talking
Yet making no sense
“You’re too young” he said
“You can’t be so tense”

She is listening to him
Every word he said
He doesn’t think so
But she can always pretend

You are nothing like your brother
Screaming he said
Nobody cares about you
Waiting for her in tears to shed

She stares at him blankly
Thinking he does
She starts singing
I love him out of nowhere she says

He slapped her
She smiled and calmly sat
Nobody loves you!
Yes, he does and nothing can change that…
