Will We Ever Be Friends?

by Valerie   Jan 18, 2005

All of you were friends
then I came along
so you began singing
a different song

Who knew they existed
or even their names
who knew I was a catalyst
that started a change

You kept me from them
to keep me with you
but they crept in
like the winter flu

You never told me
therefor it's a lie
that they make you happy
when they don't even try

These three girls
have changed my life
they've added some trouble,
some heartache and strife

I took you away
now they're doing the same
except they are winning
our emotional game

I'm not giving up
I'll put on a fight
I've grown too attached
to lose you tonight

Understand this....
I love you more
than these three girls
have ever before.
