Hi all.
Please don't hesitate to grade or comment and tell me what you think of the poem.
This is by far my favourite poem i've written, and my first one with tercets throughout.

The meaning of the poem is simple, i'll leave that for everyone to think about. What it's about is even more simple. 2 people, in love, moving towards each other. The poem recounts how they come together, kiss and then part. You'll also note that there's no gender mentioned at all, i'll leave you to figure out why.

The actual kiss is the culmination of the entire poem, it's in the middle line of the middle stanza.

the last line is somewhat of a mystery: why couldn't their love last?

In truth, the last line reflects my own life, as do most of my last lines or stanzas, so that's personal.

Love it. You made it so the reader can really imagine it...and you can put any two people in there...relating it to your own life and such....lovely job.

My answer: yes, and no. the "she" can be any girl, but my poems (the ones about beauty and envy) are usually about myself or how i feel...thanks for the comment...
