Rest in peace

by tiny   Jan 19, 2005

Late in the day, on a Holloween night,
me and my homies were kickin\' back tight.
It was almost midnight when we heard a gunshot
lookin\' at each other, we drop to the ground
My homegril was lost didnt\'t know wat to do
we told her to duck, but refused to do so.
She finally noticed we were bein\' bummed out,
but it was to late, she had alrady been shot.
as she fell to the floor all covered in red,
my homeboy got up to see wat she said.
we told him to wait till everthing stoped,
but he didn\'t listen, so he also got shot.
we carefully stood up to check their bad choice
I tried to calm down and not shed a tear
but it was hard for me,
knowin\' my homegirl was layin\' flat on the floor.
i heard knockin and ran to the door.
they took my two homies to help them some more.
my homeboy survived the great risk that he took.
Day later, my homegril was called up to heaven.
Rest in peace to my homegril and all them homiez who died in the past.
