Wish upon a star

Sit here by window
As I look up in the midnight sky
I saw a falling star passed by

I wish for someone, somebody
to
love me dearly, someone to love me
Other than my family
a lover, to hold me in there arms’ embrace
and never letting me go

I wish someday
that I meet my own prince
who would save me from the darkness
and lead me to the light

I could wish on a fallen star
A thousand times, but would my wishes be granted?
Would I find my very own prince?
Who would help fulfill my dreams?
Who would love me dearly no matter what?
And someone I could share
My very own happily ever after...
