awww... this nick poem is cool and sweet and i have the same feeling about my best friend who passed away just before graduation 8th grade...this so sad and i couldnt believe the phone call ethier i didnt believe it until i saw her in the beautiful coffin...

i think the poem flows really well although i feel the last line should rhyme aswell (e.g you where a desire to know). i really liked this poem overall. maybe you would like to read my poem 'soar'. i wrote it after a friends cousin died so maybe you could realte to it? hope your okay and keeping strong!

hey--ypu commented on my poem Bright Lights(about crystal meth). Let me tell you, stop doing it now! no matter if you have to let go of every single friend go to rehab, anything to get away from it now!!! i know i've lost everything. my parents think i'm useless(i am) i have no real friends(except all my drug buddies) and besides dope i have nothing to live for.
please take my advice! i struggle to quit everyday. its a battle that i never know if im behind or ahead with.

this poem is outstanding. besides me having true concern 4 you to get away from the ice, this also makes me feel very close to you. my boyfriend Tommie Dustin 'Dusty' Love passed away December 9, 2004. it's like we were giong through the some tramadic experience at the some time! i feel for you. His bithday was yesterday. thanx 4 writing this. stay strong.

One thing though, maybe you could put into words the way you'll never forget him at the end to make it really really strong at the end. But it was still an awesome poem!!! Take care!
