~Inspired by the first history of Hebrews~

**********************
Persia begun my trivet, border lairs saved o‘er parody, my escort afore the crowded court my thoughts belay then...finesse my sword left ashore Assyria.

Crown before and now no where to love with, asserting pride hence I lay with them I shun. Shirked what ignorance left infirm Israel hails.

Who’s lacking hero born to be loved a parable my name, saved and a high soar legend.

Leave mine name disingenuous, my tremulous art to cleave your trust.

During came my end sparing middle’s modicum, a tryst solar my silence harem left to ye Alexander. Be thy land’s boon taken after me.

Make great a name and slew the riot of failure as hope beguiles oppression.

Whilst starving pessimism to gilding conquered hands molding life in on these sacred sands.

Auth note: Given unto ye as I would have given unto them, left to thee toward thine eternity witholding none an epic wisdom.

Wonderful! Epic and gilded in its own right!

Knowing the history of the region, I love this line: "Whilst starving pessimism to gilding conquered hands molding life in on these sacred sands."

Quite beautifully defines thousands of years and the ripples of the many dozens of shifting conquerors.

Eternal darkness is light in a splintered mind's eye. Better to know my obsession than have need to gaze upon it.

Today I say it... you have a way with words, Bird.
