My birth place

by seraf   Jan 30, 2005

Despite summoning of sky kissing mansion
Why not it may be the fairy of paradise
I will remember you till the end of my life

Those shady trees and flowering bushes
And roaming bees, beetles and butterflies
Those green meadows and the rice fields
And the cows grazing and goats jumping
Those graceful birds singing on the branches
And the parrot imitating human sounds
Those green hills and the cascading springs
And the paper boat sailing in the river
I still remember those blissful moments

Those farmers ploughing the crop field
And women singing the melodious songs
Those summer days in the coolest pond
And the winter days around the burning fire
Those stolen mangoes and bananas
And together eating at the safe place
Those punishments by parents and neighbours
And again kissing and hugging with love
I still remember those unforgettable days
So, I often say
I will remember you till the end of my life
