Flower turn black

How come people give
flowers to other people
they just turn black
like love
they rot after people
leave them alone

how come people
break up
with other people
isn't love like you
wanting to stay with
them your whole life
thats what i thought
guess i was wrong

you say you love me
you lied to me
why?
is it because that you
found another person
i think so
well i still love you cause
i still want you
