People tell me that someone is looking out for me
And people tell me that everyone finds away to be happy
But I'm tired of Praying
My dreams are now fraying
This routine just seems to be getting old
I feel all alone, so unhappy and cold
There is something unknown
In the feelings I feel and the dreams that I dream
I need to be needed, I just wanted to be loved
I love all my friends, but is that ever enough
Do they know that i need them?
Do they know that i care?
I send this out to all of them
I really do love you and i really do care
You help me through the worst of times
And I can only tell you in these rhymes
You try to help me when i get lost in the dark
You show me beautiful things, like the song of a lark
I just want you to know that i am trying for you
I know we go through rough times, but with a little help we all make it through
