My fallen angel

An angel without her wings has fallen
Into my open waiting arms
My embrace has broken
The spell that stole her charms

This perfect being has come to me
She needed love and hope
She has helped me much
And I try to help her cope

Angels do not always know it all
They need help from mortals
This one needed my love too
I hope I can pass her trials

She is as lovely as a god
And as pure as innocence
She saved me when I tried to help
And no one can replace her benevolence

This fallen angel of mine is holy
A resurrected full blown gift
She helped me help her completely
And her gain again will be swift

Her unsurpassable beauty is grand
And almost too much to love
But I cannot pass up such a gift
She is my pure white dove

This angel will soon regain her wings
And soar up to her land
But not before our lives are through
And we leave hand in hand
