Fading away

by Tara J Laboucan   Feb 1, 2005

When I woke up this morning
I knew something was changing
I knew something was different

It was this every morning when I woke up
I always wondered if you dreamt of me that night
And think of you 24/7

But this morning something changed
My mind is all one big puzzle
My heart is confused and down
My head is hurt and I want to stay in bed

Just to dream about you and never let go
Just to remember you and never forget
Just to think of you and never erase

Life is rearranging I can see is changing
Here in front of me I know what’s happening
It’s time I let go it’s time I forget, it’s time I erase

I have to see a fading face
Turn into the blurring outer space
I would like to one day embrace you hand
And have it in mine

But what I’ve noticed
Is that I cant have anything my way
Dreams, thoughts, and feelings
All of them are of you

Disappearing like the rippling of water
I think I can face the challenge
I think I can make it through
I think I gotta do what I gotta do

It’s to forget about you.
