The Choice

by Daniel Mulvany   Feb 3, 2005

How far will we let this go,
Just to see it slip away,
Moving on to never know,
All that we could share today?
But, still, we have a chance to find,
A love that we could ever share.
So for me, please, keep in mind,
How much I do for you care,
All the times we've had together,
Conversations hard to end,
All the storms that we have weathered,
That I'll always be your friend.
So though this chance may come and pass,
And friends are all we'll ever be,
My love for you will ever last,
And friends we will be endlessly.
