Just a tortured boy in love...

Everything seemed
To be going just fine
I was hers and She was mine
Recently I don’t understand
Things seem wrong
I no longer feel, That I’m where I belong
She looks right through me
Like I’m not there
As though she don’t notice
When I’m stroking her hair

Looking right through me
Like I don’t exist
When I’m near she acts cold,
And her breath is mist
She looks tearful and heartbroken
Throughout the day
In her dear brown eyes
She’s lost and faraway

Maybe she hates me
I can sometimes hear her yell
“Do you know since you left, I’ve slipped and I’ve fell!!!”
She’s a crazy girl
Though its what I love her for
But how did I leave?
I haven’t walked out the door

What scares me the most
Is when she’s in bed at night
She cries as though her heart has died
Why don’t she notice?
That I’m by her side!
I hold her in my arms all the time
Maybe she’s cheating
And she doesn’t want to be mine
We walk to school in silence
This is new
She meets some friends
Just a few

Suddenly, her words turn bad
With a tear in her eye….
Her words are sad
She leaves me following far behind
There’s no tears in these eyes that I can find
Everything fits into place
As she says: “All I want is to see his face”
Suddenly I want to fall to the floor
“I wish he had talked to me, If he couldn’t take it anymore”
Now I remember…and I fall to the ground
“All I remember is the image of his hanging body I found”
