I love the way you look at me
I love the way you smile
I love to hear your voice
But will you stay a longer while

I love the way you touch my lips
With your sweet gentle fingers
I hate the way I love all this
And my love will always linger

I love the way you come home to me
I love the way you never leave
I love the way you wrote to me
The lovely letters I used to receive

But now I don’t understand
Why you don’t want to stay
I don’t want to say goodbye
But what else is there to say?
