A Heart Shaaped Box

by Bill   Feb 7, 2005

The big red heart shaped box
Was left at her front door
Little did he know then
He might not see her anymore
He called her on the phone that day
No answer did he get
When the phone kept ringing
He began to sweat
She never went anywhere
Unless she let him know
Thoughts kept running through
his mind
Just where would she go
Another day had ended
The night was closing in
He waited for her to come home
So she'd tell him where she'd been
But she never made it back
So that he could say
I love you with all my heart
Please don't stay away
The heart shaped box was left
there
With the big gold bow
Thats the way he wanted it
So that she would know
That she was very special
And that he wanted to say
I wish that you were here with
me
On this Valentines day.....
