Relationships end,
It's only a matter of time
We can only wish
There was a true sublime

It may be bliss,
For the moment in space...
But the one you love,
Possesses a bitter taste

The two-faced mask,
That one holds so dear...
Is the key to failure,
Because it creates fear

Fear that one may love
another too much
Or fear that one becomes trite
After many a touch

Trust is broken,
And provoked and revealed-
Is a pain so harsh,
It can never be healed...

So love, or pretend,
For the sake of your heart,
But do not be surprised,
When it is torn apart.
