Bloody Valentine

Go to your locker, look and see
You'll find a note to you from me
For you my love, I took the time
To write you a special valentine

I took hours until it reached perfection
Because this little card expressed my affection
But this little card wasn't your usual pink
I used no lace or special glitter ink

The front, in fact, was smeared with mud
And the ink I used was my own blood

When you open the card with curiosity
Your wandering eyes will begin to read
In the card, so neatly inscribed
I wrote for you a little poem inside:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I wish I were Dead
All thanks to You

I don't know, but I might trust
You'll throw my card down in disgust
I know my message won't get your pity
But there's my valentine, isn't it pretty?
