Best Friends Forever

At the begining right from the start,
I knew you would be the one to have my heart
PLay fights, Playstation and Basket ball matches,
You telling me about all your sexy new catches.

There for a while we were never apart,
Not unless you decided to fart.
Starting trouble and having fun,
Lying in the grass under the sun.

Some of these things i look back on and smile,
You always know when to pick up and what number to dial.
Some how you always know the words to say,
Even if it\\\'s just a call to say hey!

It broke my heart when u told me you got the call,
About how you\\\'d be gone throughout the fall.
It would be the first time i\\\'d be without my \\\"big brother\\\"
For the longest time without us laughing at each other.
Not having somone to pick on me or call me short,
Not even to tickle me or just to save me from being bored.

Every saturday i checked the mail,
But them past few times you had began to fail
I was afraid we would lose touch,
But you promised me our friendship would never budge.

I had faith and my head stayed held high.
Hopefully i am right and our friendship wouldnt die.
I need you to write me and let me know your ok,
Atleast what\\\'s up or a simple HEY!

I have always told you, you were my best friend
And thats what you will be until the very end!

Ok guys this one may not mean anything to anyone else but when i wrote this i was going through a rough time. Most of this has alot to do with inside jokes and My best friend of 8 years was going to boot camp and i was afraid of losing him! so basically this poem is dedicated to my best friend in the whole entire world!
